Choose a purchasing mode before comparing

A one-time purchase, first subscription order and recurring subscription order can have different amounts and conditions. The selected comparison uses public one-time prices. Petco and Chewy pages also display autoship messaging, but those figures are not automatically added to a sale or treated as a permanent everyday price. A lower first-order amount does not establish future savings.

Keep the eligibility conditions nearby

Record whether a displayed reduction is for a new subscriber, has a cap, requires a code or applies only to eligible items. The current merchant terms control. The local basket has a user-entered merchandise credit for arithmetic, not an eligibility engine. It does not promise that two separate merchants honor a combined promotion or that a coupon applies to shipping.

Compare a complete known order

If you already have a subscription quote, enter its actual selected bag amount and quantity rather than copying a headline percentage. Keep unknown shipping or tax marked unknown. For an ordinary one-time order, use the buy-once amount of that exact flavor and size. Do not compare one product’s recurring amount with another product’s first-order amount without clearly labeling the distinction.

Separate scheduling from stock math

A subscription interval is an order setting, not evidence that a dog should consume a bag during that interval. This site does not predict a refill date from body weight, training frequency or calorie assumptions. Use your own verified inventory and the stock tool’s chosen target; adjust or pause orders using the merchant’s actual controls and current terms.

Review changes at the next transaction

A new bag size, an expired offer or a changed recipe can make an old saved amount misleading. Save a dated quote with the selected code and purchasing mode. Recheck it before confirming the next shipment. Cancellation, return and delivery outcomes remain merchant-specific and unverified for your order; a shopping reference cannot substitute for the actual agreement.

A promotion can change what “same offer” means

A buy-two promotion may require a particular count, eligible brand or one-time order mode. Do not overwrite the ordinary bag price with a blended figure unless you also preserve that condition. If only one bag is needed, the multi-buy effective rate may not answer the purchase question. Enter the exact quoted quantities and confirmed credit in the basket, then compare the additional inventory with your own target. More stock is a choice, not proof that a promotion saves money for every buyer.
