Choose a unit supported by the offer

All three selected bags have a declared net weight in ounces. None has a verified guaranteed piece count in this dataset. The supported comparison is therefore price per net ounce or per whole selected bag. Price per treat is withheld. An answer such as “approximately 350” from an older customer discussion is not a pack-count guarantee for the current 16oz Charlee Bear bag.

Calculate a comparable mass price

Divide the one-time bag price by its net ounces. Using the dated observations gives $7.99/6 for Zuke’s, $10.99/16 for Charlee Bear and $4.48/4 for Little-Jacs. The tool shows four decimal places for readability while keeping the merchandise basket in integer cents. The displayed unit rate is not separately rounded and multiplied back to recreate the cart.

Avoid an attractive but unsupported shortcut

A label’s kcal per treat is not a count declaration. Dividing kcal/kg by kcal/piece assumes a representative piece mass and exact energy consistency that the packaging does not guarantee. It would turn rounded nutrition declarations into supposed inventory. Likewise, splitting a soft reward into smaller portions would change your counted portions, not the manufacturer’s number of pieces in the bag.

Compare within the question you actually have

If your question is “How much mass can I buy for this item price?”, ounce comparison answers it. If your question is “How many individually counted rewards will arrive?”, ask the maker or seller whether that exact current SKU has a guaranteed count. Until then, the answer is unknown, even when another product has a clearly counted format. A lower ounce price is not proof of lower cost for a personally chosen serving.

Keep shipping in a separate column

Buying three bags from two merchants can create separate charges. The item rate should not be presented as delivered cost unless the applicable shipping and tax are actually known. Enter a new checkout quote in the basket, mark charges known only when available, and keep an unsupported piece comparison unsupported instead of replacing it with an estimate.

A count requirement needs a count specification

Consider a buyer organizing a fixed number of sealed reward portions for an event. Net ounces and an approximate review count cannot guarantee that many pieces or portions. The supported response is to ask for an exact counted SKU, prepare an independently chosen plan outside this calculator, or leave the requirement unresolved. The ounce-price tool answers a mass-cost question only. Its refusal is intentional because converting rounded nutrition data into a supposed count would create false precision.
